## § 20 Community Reinvestment and Reparations Fund.

Balt., Md., Charter art. I, § 20 (2026)

(a) There is a continuing, nonlapsing fund for purposes of supporting the work of the Community Reinvestment and Reparations Commission, to the extent that the work of the Commission is within the scope of the use limitations in § 1-322 {“Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund”} of the State Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Article.

(b) The fund established under this section shall comprise:

  (1) disbursements from the State Comptroller from the State Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund; and

  (2) future appropriations from the federal, State, or local government.

(c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Charter, unspent portions of the Fund established under this section:

  (1) remain in the Fund, to be used exclusively for their ordained purposes;

  (2) do not revert to the general revenues of the City; and

  (3) their appropriations do not lapse.
