## Regulation .01 Adoption and Scope of Regulations.

Balt., Md., COBRA § 07.01.01.01 (2026)

A. Adoption.

  (1) The Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development adopts these rules and regulations under <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|19|§45">City Code Article 19, § 45 {“Signs-On or Affecting Public Property”}</cite>.

B. Scope.

  (1) These rules and procedures apply to the removal by parties (other than the City or its employees) of signs that are posted in violation of City Code <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|19">Article 19</cite>, §§ <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|19|§45-2|(1)">45-2(1)</cite> through <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|19|§45-2|(6)">45-2(6)</cite>.

  (2) These rules and procedures do not apply to the removal of signs that are posted in violation of <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|19|§45-2|(7)">City Code Article 19, § 45-2(7)</cite>, which prohibits the placement of signs on any pole (electric pole), building or property that is owned, leased, or controlled by a public utility and located within or on any public street, alley, or other public property.
