A permit holder shall provide in-app user education on proper operation of a dockless vehicle by:Developing an in-app quiz for new users that:Contains a minimum of five questions approved by the Department pertaining to:Parking; Operations; or General safety; and Requires a score of at least 80 percent before the third rental of a dockless vehicle by a user; and Displaying a banner on the app home screen for up to one week of each month that highlights relevant information determined by the Department. A permit holder shall provide in-person user education on proper operation of a dockless vehicle by:Hosting or participating in a minimum of one community event per deployment district annually to display safety information; Attending a minimum of two community events annually between November and February; and Attending a minimum of four public meetings upon invitation by the Department. Access to Additional User Data.A permit holder may request that users “opt in” to provide access to:Location services; or Files on a user’s phone. A permit holder may not prevent use of a dockless vehicle based on a user’s decision to grant or deny the data noted in <cite data-path="14.02.01.18|C.|(1)">§C(1) of this regulation</cite>. Departmental Survey. Within 10 days of notification by the Department, a permit holder shall:Include a clickable link to a yearly Department survey in the mobile application; and Send the survey link to active users via e-mail.
