## Regulation .01 Adoption, Applicability and Scope of Regulations.

Balt., Md., COBRA § 14.03.01.01 (2026)

A. These rules and regulations are promulgated by the Baltimore City Department of Transportation (“DOT”) pursuant to <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|26">City Code Article 26</cite>, Subtitle 15.

B. These rules and regulations are in addition to all applicable laws found in <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Code" data-path="|26">Baltimore City Code Article 26</cite>, other applicable sections of Baltimore City Code, and Maryland State Code.

C. Scope of Regulations.

  (1) These rules and procedures are intended to ensure proper excavation of the public way;

  (2) These rules and procedures are intended to ensure complete restoration of the public way to match preexisting conditions; and

  (3) These rules and procedures are intended to ensure the proper use of the public way while work is ongoing.
