## Regulation .07 Community Involvement.

Balt., Md., COBRA § 14.09.01.07 (2026)

A. Prior to implementation of traffic calming measures, BCDOT shall notify stakeholders of the following information:

  (1) A summary of the traffic calming plan;

  (2) The timeframe of the project comment period; and

  (3) Contact information pertaining to comments or an opt-out request.

B. BCDOT shall notify stakeholders by:

  (1) Postcard or letter;

  (2) Electronic communication;

  (3) Social media; or

  (4) Other community outreach methods.

C. BCDOT may post signs on the street in question with the information above.

D. The following conditions apply to opt-out requests:

  (1) Only opt-out requests from stakeholders abutting the immediate project block(s) shall be considered;

  (2) Stakeholders may be required to provide proof of residency when opting out;

  (3) Comments must be submitted within the specified response period.
