## § 17-1 Bureaus of Department.

Balt., Md., Code art. 1, § 17-1 (2026)

(a) The Department of Public Works comprises the following Bureaus:

  (1) Bureau of Solid Waste; and

  (2) Bureau of Water and Wastewater.

(b) All of the rights, powers, duties, obligations, and functions previously conferred or imposed on these Bureaus and their Bureau Heads shall continue to be exercised and performed by these Bureaus and Bureau heads unless otherwise assigned or reassigned by law or as provided in this subtitle.
