## § 3-2 Diary fund.

Balt., Md., Code art. 1, § 3-2 (2026)

With the exception of the matter of the compensation to the members of the City Council for their services as now provided by <cite data-doc="City of Baltimore, Md., Charter" data-path="III|§1">Article III, § 1 of the City Charter</cite>, the City Council shall have the control of all matters of expenditure which relate to the business operations or diary of the City Council, embracing:

(1) the salaries of its officers;

(2) printing for the body;

(3) necessary expenses of its standing and special committees;

(4) stationery;

(5) appointments of the council chambers and committee rooms;

(6) funeral expenses; and

(7) such other expenses as may be proper for and necessary to the discharge of its functions.
