## § 11-2 Prohibited conduct.

Balt., Md., Code art. 11, § 11-2 (2026)

(a) No employer shall demand or require any applicant for employment or prospective employment or any employee to submit to take a polygraph, lie detector, or similar test or examination as a condition of employment or continued employment.

(b) The prohibition of this section does not apply to the federal government or local subdivision thereof, including the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore.
