## § 6-17 Reporting.

Balt., Md., Code art. 13, § 6-17 (2026)

(a)

  (1) A landlord shall report each rental single-family dwelling unit transfer subject to <cite data-path="|13|6">this subtitle</cite> to the Commissioner within 30 days of the transfer in the manner required by the Commissioner.

  (2) The duty to report under this subsection shall include transfers to a party other than the tenant.

(b) On or before June 30 of the each year, the Commissioner shall submit a report to the Mayor and City Council detailing:

  (1) disaggregated by zip code, the total number of transfers subject <cite data-path="|13|6">this subtitle</cite>, including:

    (i) transfers to a tenant; and

    (ii) transfers to a party other than a tenant;

  (2) any recommendations for legislative or policy amendments to better ensure that City tenants are benefitting from <cite data-path="|13|6">this subtitle</cite>.
