In this subtitle, the following terms have the meanings indicated. “Commissioner” means the Commissioner of Housing and Community Development or the Commissioner’s designee. “Service provider” means any person doing business in this City as:a master plumber; a gas fitter; a heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, or refrigeration contractor; or a home improvement contractor. Every service provider must: register with the Commissioner; provide the Commissioner with:the address of his or her place of business; and the name under which the business is carried on; and give immediate notice to the Commissioner of any change in that information. Ord. 02-475

For the registration of a service provider under this subtitle, the fee is as $25. Ord. 02-475

Any person who violates any provision of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine of not more than $500 for each violation. Ord. 02-475
