(a)Authority created.

There is a York Corridor Business Improvement District Management Authority, referred to in this subtitle as the “Authority”.

(b)Purpose.

The purpose of the Authority is to:

(1)

promote and market the District;

(2)

provide supplemental security and maintenance services;

(3)

provide amenities in public areas; and

(4)

provide other services and functions as may be requested by the Authority and approved by an ordinance of the Mayor and City Council.
