Prior to final selection of a site for the construction of a new school, the Planning Commission shall consult with the Board of Fire Commissioners, the Police Commissioner, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Housing and Community Development about the proposed site. Such consultations shall be in the form of written communications, accompanied by plats indicating the site.
