## § 16-3 Penalties.

Balt., Md., Code art. 19, § 16-3 (2026)

(a) Any person violating any of the provisions of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor.

(b) Upon conviction of a violation of § 16-2(a), (b), or (c), he is subject to a fine not in excess of $500 or to imprisonment not in excess of 1 year, or to both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.

(c) For a violation of the provisions of § 16-2(d), he shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100.
