It is unlawful for any person to offer for sale or resale or to possess for sale or resale any Preakness Stakes ticket that:is forged or counterfeit; or is in any way printed or issued without the consent of the Maryland Jockey Club of Baltimore City, Inc. Any person who violates a provision of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine of not more than $1,000 for each offense.
