It shall be unlawful for any person to sell any metal knuckles, sling shot, slung shot, sand club, or black jack in the City of Baltimore. Except that black jacks may be sold to:duly qualified police officers; or any person having a permit from the Police Commissioner to permit him to make such purchase or purchases. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than $500 or be imprisoned for not more than 1 year, or both, in the discretion of the court.
