No real estate salesman shall: accept a commission or valuable consideration as a real estate salesman for the performance of any act as a real estate salesman from any person except the real estate broker named in his license; or represent or attempt to represent any other real estate broker as a real estate salesman without the knowledge and consent of the broker named in his license.
