A violation of the provisions of this subtitle shall be a misdemeanor and any person convicted thereof shall be subject to a fine of $100 and not more than $500 or to imprisonment of not more than 60 days or to both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court. Where an offense is committed by 1 or more individuals acting for a corporation, it shall be deemed to be the offense of both the corporation and the individual. Where the offense is committed by 1 or more individuals acting in behalf of a partnership or association, it shall be deemed to be:the offense of the partnership or association and the individual; and the personal offense of any partner or associate who aids, abets, directs, counsels, and/or knowingly participates therein.
