## § 21 Board of Trustees.

Balt., Md., Code art. 22, § 21 (2026)

(a) The Elected Officials’ Retirement System shall be administered by the Board of Trustees of the Employees’ Retirement System:

  (1) in the same manner as is provided in <cite data-path="|22|§5">§ 5 of this article</cite>; and

  (2) subject to the same limitations as are imposed by <cite data-path="|22|§5|(b)|(5)">§ 5(b)(5) of this article</cite>.

(b) All claims shall be administered by the panel of hearing examiners in the same manner as provided in <cite data-path="|22|§9">§ 9 of this article</cite> for members of the Employees’ Retirement System.
