## § 8-1 Forfeiture of non-vested Employer Contributions.

Balt., Md., Code art. 22A, § 8-1 (2026)

The Employer Contribution Sub-Account of a member who terminates employment with a participating employer before that sub-account is vested under <cite data-path="|22A|§7-2">§ 7-2 {“Vesting: Employer Contribution Sub-Account”} of this article</cite> is forfeited as of the date of the member’s termination of employment, unless that member is reemployed by a participating employer within 30 days after termination of employment.
