## § 8-4 Remaining amounts in Forfeiture Account.

Balt., Md., Code art. 22A, § 8-4 (2026)

(a) After the end of each Plan Year, any amount remaining in the Forfeiture Account after all Employer Contribution Sub-Accounts are restored under <cite data-path="|22A|§8-3">§ 8-3 {“Restoration”} of this subtitle</cite> will be used to defray reasonable Plan administrative expenses.

(b) Any amount remaining in the Forfeiture Account after all reasonable Plan administrative expenses are defrayed will be used to reduce the employer contribution required under <cite data-path="|22A|§5-3">§ 5-3 {“Employer contributions”} of this article</cite> for the plan year in which the forfeiture occurred.
