## § 15-5 Rules and regulations.

Balt., Md., Code art. 26, § 15-5 (2026)

(a) Subject to Title 4 {“Administrative Procedure Act – Regulations”} of the <cite data-path="|general">City General Provisions Article</cite>, the Department of Transportation shall adopt rules and regulations to carry out this subtitle.

(b) These rules and regulations shall incorporate standards set by the Department to govern:

  (1) backfilling, repaving, and repair specifications;

  (2) traffic control;

  (3) work hours;

  (4) lighting, fencing, and covering of work areas; and

  (5) incidental related matters.

(c) These rules and regulations may include procedures for the issuance, service, and enforcement of administrative orders to stop work being done in violation of this subtitle, a rule or regulation adopted under this subtitle, or a condition imposed on a permit issued under this subtitle.
