## § 16-21 School crossing guards.

Balt., Md., Code art. 31, § 16-21 (2026)

(a) The driver of every vehicle and the operator of every street car and trackless trolley on the streets and public ways of this City shall comply with any lawful order or direction of any school crossing guard vested with authority by the Police Commissioner to direct, control, or regulate pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

(b) Any person failing to comply with any such lawful order or direction or in any other manner violating the provisions of this section, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100 for each offense.
