## § 16-56 Passengers discharged at curb.

Balt., Md., Code art. 31, § 16-56 (2026)

(a) It is unlawful for the operator of any taxicab to take on or discharge passengers except at the curb of any street, lane, alley, or other public way, unless no reasonably adequate space at the curb is available therefor.

(b) Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be subject to a penalty of not exceeding $10 for each and every such violation.
