## § 17-7 Penalties.

Balt., Md., Code art. 31, § 17-7 (2026)

(a)

  (1) A person who violates <cite data-path="|31|§17-5|(a)">§ 17-5(a) of this subtitle</cite> is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine of not more than $200.

  (2) Violations of <cite data-path="|31|§17-5|(a)">§ 17-5(a) of this subtitle</cite> may be enforced by citation under Maryland Rule 4-201(b)(3).

(b) A person who violates <cite data-path="|31|§17-5|(b)">§ 17-5(b) of this subtitle</cite> is guilty of a parking violation punishable by a fine of $50.
