§ 22-15 Estimates and repairs.LinkCopy Citation
(a)Agreement required.
(1)
A towing company may not make any repairs for consideration on a disabled vehicle towed by it without first entering into a signed agreement with the owner of the disabled vehicle or the owner’s authorized representative.
(2)
The signed agreement must include an estimates of the cost of repairs.
(b)Copies.
(1)
1 copy of an agreement entered into under this section shall be given to the owner of the disabled vehicle or the owner’s authorized representative.
(2)
1 copy of an agreement entered into under this section shall be retained by the towing company for a period of at least 2 years.
