## § 31-67 Impound for police investigation.

Balt., Md., Code art. 31, § 31-67 (2026)

(a) Where the Police Department has caused a vehicle to be impounded for investigative purposes, no storage charges shall be collected.

(b) Upon receiving an order from the Police Department, the Towing Division shall release the vehicle to the owner, his or her next of kin, or his or her authorized representative.
