## § 36-21 Collection of fines.

Balt., Md., Code art. 31, § 36-21 (2026)

(a) All fines imposed by this subtitle shall be payable to the Director of Finance, who shall control the issuance of prenumbered citation forms to the Police Department and record the final disposition of each citation.

(b) Upon receipt of notification that the recipient of a citation intends to stand trial for said offense, the Director of Finance shall forward to the District Court a copy of the citation and a copy of the notice from the person who received the citation indicating his intention to stand trial.
