§ 7-10 Maintenance.

(a)Director responsible.

The Director of Transportation shall keep all parking meters installed under this subtitle in a good operating condition, clean and properly painted.

(b)Meter identification.

(1)

Each meter shall have a location number clearly marked on it in a conspicuous place.

(2)

This number:

(i)

shall be used to identify the location of the meter and, thus, of any vehicle charged with a parking violation at that location; and

(ii)

will serve as a means of identification for reporting defective meters, violations, or other occurrences.
