Any individual desiring a reserved parking space and meeting the criteria of <cite data-doc="City of Balt., Md., Ord. 26-085" data-path="|31|§9-1">§ 9-1 of this subtitle</cite> may submit an application for a reserved parking permit to the Department of Transportation. The Department shall review each application. If the Department reviews an application and determines that the applicant meets the criteria for a reserved parking space, then the Department shall issue a permit to the applicant. If the Department determines that the applicant does not meet the criteria for a reserved parking space, the Department shall so notify the applicant in writing stating the reason for the denial of space. If the Department denies the permit, the applicant may appeal the decision to the Director, who shall review the case and may, in the Director’s discretion, reverse the denial and grant a temporary permit.
