## § 14-305 Commercial composting facilities.

Balt., Md., Code art. 32, § 14-305 (2026)

(a) “Commercial composting facility” means a facility in the business of collecting, storing, or processing organic materials, bulking agents, or additives for composting.

(b) The facility must work with the Maryland Department of the Environment to ensure its compliance with all State regulations and to obtain all applicable State permits.

(c) The facility must be operated and maintained in a manner that protects adjacent properties from nuisance odors and the attraction of rodents or other pests.
