§ 14-310 Day-care homes: Adult or child.LinkCopy Citation
(a)In general.
Adult and child day-care homes must meet all federal, state, and local requirements, including licensing, health, safety, and <cite data-path="|building-codes|II">building code</cite> requirements.
(b)Additional standards.
In addition, each day-care home must meet the following conditions:
(1)
open-space and recreational areas must be provided in accordance with state requirements;
(2)
the day-care home must retain a residential character and may not adversely affect the residential character of the neighborhood; and
(3)
the operation of the day-care home may not adversely impact surrounding properties.
