Except as specified in subsection (b) of this section, the performance standards in this subtitle apply to:all uses in an IMU-1 and -2 and an I-1 District; and all activities in a commercial district that involve the production, processing, cleaning, servicing, testing, or repair of materials, goods, or products. Uses lawfully established before these performance standards were enacted or extended to apply to the district in which they are located need not comply with the standards.
