§ 16-702 Location.

All required bicycle spaces must be located on the same lot as the use served.

However, required bicycle spaces may be constructed in the public right-of-way, subject to obtaining a minor privilege permit.

Required long-term bicycle parking for residents of dwellings, dormitories, fraternities, or sororities must be provided in garages, storage rooms and other resident-accessible, indoor, secure areas.

Space within dwelling units or on balconies may not be counted toward satisfying bicycle parking requirements.
