§ 5-704 When required.

Balt., Md., Code art. 32, § 5-704 (2026)

A use permit is required before any person may:

(1)

occupy any newly-constructed structure or any addition to a previously-constructed structure;

(2)

use for any purpose any previously vacant land;

(3)

make any change in the authorized use of any land or structure; or

(4)

occupy any building that:

(i)

has been unoccupied for more than 1 year; or

(ii)

is subject to an outstanding vacant building notice.
