Subtitle 4 – Ambulance Service - Out-of-City Transportation

Subject to Title 4 {“Administrative Procedure Act – Regulations”} of the <cite data-path="|general">City General Provisions Article</cite>, the Chief of the Fire Department shall have power and authority to adopt reasonable rules and regulations to permit the Fire Department Ambulance Service to send its vehicles to hospitals outside the boundaries of Baltimore City, in order to deliver sick, indigent, and emergency persons from Baltimore City to those hospitals; and to proceed outside the boundaries of Baltimore City to any hospital in order to return any indigent persons residing in Baltimore City.
