## § 2-301 Scope of subtitle.

Balt., Md., Code § 2-301 (2026)

(a) Except as otherwise specified in <cite data-path="|health">this article</cite>, this subtitle applies whenever:

  (1) a person is aggrieved by a notice, order, decision, or other action of the Department; or

  (2) the Department proposes to deny, revoke, suspend, or refuse to renew a license or permit.

(b) This subtitle does not apply to matters that:

  (1) relate to the Health Department’s Office of Animal Control, or

  (2) otherwise arise under Title 10 {“Animal Control and Protection”} of <cite data-path="|health">this article</cite>.
