## § 22-26 Bailiffs — appointment; salaries.

Balt., Md., Pub. Local Laws § 22-26 (2026)

The Circuit Court for Baltimore City is authorized to appoint Law Clerk-Bailiffs and secretaries as may be needed to assist the judges in the performance of their duties.  All such employees appointed prior to July 1, 1968, or who may be appointed thereafter shall hold office at the pleasure of the Circuit Court and be paid such salaries as shall be provided in the annual Ordinance of Estimates of Baltimore City and approved by the Circuit Court under the provisions of <cite data-path="22|§22-4">Section 22-4</cite> of Article IV of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland.
