Sec. 12-17. Other general indexes.

The clerk of the circuit court for the county is hereby authorized to make or cause to be made a general index of the land, mortgage, equity, judgment, magistrate judgment and plat records of the county, or such portion of them as may be necessary, according to an approved modern system.
