Sec. 30-8. Same-Regulation and licensing generally.

The council is hereby authorized to provide by law for the regulation and licensing of pawnbrokers and their activities, as it shall deem necessary to promote the public health, safety, morals and welfare of the community.

Any regulation adopted under this section shall be adopted under method (3) of section 2A-15 of this Code.
