Montgomery County, Md., Code § 34-3A (2026)

Every new or replacement community and multiuse water supply system or sanitary sewerage system must be designed and floodproofed:

(a)

To eliminate or minimize infiltration of flood waters into the system and discharges from the system into flood waters; and

(b)

To avoid impairment during flooding and to minimize flood damage.
