Sec. 53-603. Penalty for violations.

Any violation of this Chapter or regulations adopted under it, or any violation of an order of the Director, is a Class A violation.

The Executive, by regulation, may establish a schedule of fines for violations of this Chapter, any regulations adopted under it, or any order issued under it. Those fines may be lower than the maximum fine for a Class A violation, and once adopted, may supersede the fine otherwise imposed for a Class A violation for those provisions to which the regulation applies.
