Sec. 8A-7. Interpretation of franchise terms.

This Chapter applies to a franchise agreement as if fully set forth in the franchise agreement. The express terms of this Chapter prevail over conflicting or inconsistent provisions in a franchise agreement.

The provisions of a franchise agreement must be liberally construed in order to effectuate its objectives consistent with this Chapter and the public interest.

A franchise agreement is governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Maryland.
