The County Executive may establish reasonable fees in amounts sufficient to fund the provision of dispute resolution and technical assistance. These fees may include fees for services. A Dispute Filing Fee is hereby established as follows: 1. There shall be a dispute filing fee of $50 for each dispute filed under the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 10B of the Montgomery County Code. 2. The filing fee shall be paid by the individual filing the dispute at the time the dispute is filed with the Department of Housing and Community Affairs. 3. Filing fee checks should be made payable to Montgomery County, Maryland. The annual registration fee is $6.50 per unit. A unit must be assessed only one registration fee by the Department, regardless of the number of common ownership communities that govern that unit. Registration fees must not be pro-rated and must be made payable to Montgomery County, Maryland on an annual basis. All fees are an annual registration fee and must be paid at the time of application and each subsequent annual renewal.
