Section 906. Personnel Board

There shall be a Personnel Board consisting of five qualified voters of the County. Members of the Personnel Board shall be appointed by the County Executive for terms coterminous with the County Executive and confirmed by the Council. Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner of original appointment. Each member shall serve until their successor is appointed and qualified. A member of the Board may be removed only for cause by the County Executive, subject to approval by the Council. The County Executive shall designate a member of the Board as chair.
