Sec. 10-255.01. Transit and operations special revenue fund for local bus service; establishment and fundingLinkCopy Citation
(a)
There is hereby established and created a special purpose fund to be known as the "Bus Service Fund."
(b)
The purpose of this fund shall be to finance the costs of intracounty bus service including the cost of operation, debt service, or grants and loans to private interests for that purpose.
(c)
All proceeds from the collection of recordation taxes levied in accordance with Section 10-192(b) shall be paid into and appropriated from the Bus Service Fund.
(d)
Unexpended appropriations to this fund shall not lapse into and become a part of the general fund at the end of the fiscal year.
