A notice is required as follows: Within five (5) days after an owner enters into a bona fide contract of sale to sell rental housing, the owner must provide written notice of the sale: to each tenant in the multifamily rental facility by hand or by certified mail, return receipt requested; posted in the public areas of the multifamily rental facility; and to the Director of the Department by certified mail, return receipt requested.
