## Sec. 13-200. Intent of legislation

Prince George's County, Md., Code § 13-200 (2026)

(a) It is specifically intended that this Division shall:

  (1) Provide regulations governing the use of Group Residential Facilities for groups of exceptional persons who need supportive environments;

  (2) Encourage the establishment of such facilities while ensuring their compatibility with residential neighborhoods within the County;

  (3) Ensure the quality of Group Residential Facility Programs; and

  (4) Provide an integrated County administrative process concerning such facilities.
