## Sec. 18-118. Investigator's powers and duties

Prince George's County, Md., Code § 18-118 (2026)

Every State's Attorney Investigator appointed under this Division shall have the power to arrest all persons committing offenses or crimes in the County. He shall have and may exercise the general powers of a peace officer in the County. He may wear an appropriate metallic badge as prescribed by the appointing authority. He shall have the power to possess and carry such firearm and other weapons as may be prescribed by the appointing authority.
