## Sec. 18-186.11. Definitions

Prince George's County, Md., Code § 18-186.11 (2026)

(a) For the purpose of this Division, the following terms, phrases, words, and their derivations shall have the meaning given herein:

  (1) Cadet is a person duly appointed to that position by the Chief of Police.

  (2) Chief or Chief of Police is the Chief of Police of Prince George's County.

  (3) County is Prince George's County.

  (4) Public Service Aide is a person duly appointed to that position in accordance with the Classification Plan and assigned to the Police Department.
