## Division 27. Notice to Municipalities

### Sec. 2-399. Notice to municipalities of property disposed of by governmental bodies

Prince George's County, Md., Code § 2-399 (2026)

When the County is notified by a governmental body that any property located in the County owned by a governmental body, including but not limited to property owned by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, or the State, is to be disposed of and the property to be disposed of is also located in a municipality within the County, the County shall give notice of the disposed of property to the municipality where the disposed property is located.

### Sec. 2-400. Notice to municipalities of money collected on behalf a municipality

When the County collects any money or funds on behalf of a municipality within the County, the County shall send notification to the municipality that the money or funds have been received.
